Abstract painter Rūta Katiliūtė (born in 1944, lives in Vilnius) exclusively works with the gallery Meno Niša since 2002 and was presented in the art fairs Positions Berlin, ArtVilnius, Koelner Liste, YIA Paris and Brussels. Rūta Katiliūtė is one of the brightest and most consistent representatives of Lithuanian abstract painting, well known in Germany. Her paintings have been displayed in German contemporary art galleries Salustowicz, Gallery in Hof and many others since 1990. Works by Rūta Katiliūtė have been acquired by the Lithuanian Art Museum, the M.K. Čiurlionis National Art Museum, the State Tretyakov Gallery in Moscow, the European Parliament (Brussels), the Salustowicz Gallery (Bielefeld, Germany), and private collectors.  2016 Katiliūtė was awarded Lithuania’s National Culture and Arts Prize.
