Algirdas and Remigijus Gataveckas are a Lithuanian artist duo working across contemporary realist painting, drawing, installation, and public art. Their practice combines the tradition of academic realism with conceptual art principles, exploring themes of social exclusion, identity, memory, and human dignity. Since 2022, Algirdas Gataveckas has been teaching at the Vilnius Academy of Arts, where he has held the position of Associate Professor since 2024. CV
